The official name of the village is Agia Marina Kelokedara Village. The reason for this is because there are a few more villages in Paphos and elsewhere in Cyprus with the name Agia Marina. The village of Kelokedara is situated close by and therefore the name of the village was chosen as Agia Marina Kelokedara to promote the location of the village.
